🌿 The Journey Behind Praan Urjaa – From Home Kitchen to a Growing Wellness Brand
Sometimes the most meaningful journeys do not begin with large investments, big offices, or detailed business plans. They begin with small thoughts, difficult life situations, and a strong decision to keep moving forward.
Praan Urjaa is one such journey.
It started from home during the lockdown period with a very simple intention — to create healthier and more natural nutrition options for everyday life. During that time, like many families, we became more conscious about health, immunity, and the importance of what we consume daily.
I began experimenting with different ingredients at home, understanding their nutritional value and how they could support energy, wellness, and overall health in a simple and affordable way. My focus was never on creating a luxury product. I wanted to make something practical, natural, and accessible for families.
As I continued learning and preparing different combinations, family members and close people around me started trying them regularly. Slowly, I began hearing positive feedback about how these ingredients were supporting their daily routine, energy levels, and wellness. That encouragement became one of the first motivations behind continuing this journey further.

But the roots of Praan Urjaa were not built only during lockdown. They were also shaped by my professional journey over nearly 20 years.
Before starting Praan Urjaa, I had the opportunity to work across different industries and roles that helped me understand business, management, creativity, and operations from multiple perspectives.
At Deep Crafts, I worked closely with the owner of the company, which gave me valuable exposure to business operations and decision-making processes. Later, at Fun Designers, I worked as a Partner and Creative Director, where I learned the importance of creativity, presentation, customer understanding, and branding.
My experience at S&M Industrial Valves as Procurement Head and part of the management team further strengthened my understanding of business management in practical ways. It involved procurement handling, labour support, coordination, research and development, time management, finance management, and understanding how every small part contributes to the growth of a business.
These experiences slowly helped me build confidence and practical knowledge, even though I never imagined that one day I would start my own wellness brand.
Life, however, had different plans.
In 2024, I lost my husband. It was one of the most difficult phases of my life emotionally, mentally, and personally. Along with handling responsibilities, I also saw my son going through emotional trauma after losing his father. Slowly, he started losing confidence within himself.
That became one of the biggest turning points in my journey.
At that moment, I realized something very deeply — if I lost hope and gave up, he might never find the confidence to rise again in his own life. That thought changed my mindset completely.
I decided that no matter how difficult life became, I had to stand strong, continue learning, and build something meaningful not only for survival, but for purpose.
That is when I started taking Praan Urjaa more seriously.
With limited resources, I slowly began understanding every part of building a brand from the ground level. I started researching registrations, certifications, packaging, compliance, sourcing, and every small requirement needed to create something genuine and trustworthy.
Step by step, one process at a time, the journey moved forward.
Today, every certificate and registration I hold represents much more than paperwork. They represent patience, learning, resilience, and belief.
Praan Urjaa slowly evolved into a wellness-focused brand with products like Promix and Cocoa Mix, created with the intention of supporting daily nutrition in a simple and practical way.
Seeing people trust the products, reorder them, and include them in their daily lives has been one of the most encouraging parts of this journey.
But for me, Praan Urjaa is still much more than selling products.
It is about creating awareness around better daily nutrition.
It is about making natural wellness more approachable and affordable.
It is about building something meaningful from small beginnings.
And most importantly, it is about proving that difficult life situations do not have to define the end of someone’s story.
Even today, the vision remains simple.

Many women stop dreaming because life responsibilities become heavier over time. But I strongly believe that when a woman decides to rise again with courage and consistency, nothing becomes impossible.

But if the intention is genuine and the determination remains strong, growth will come with time and patience.
